Staff
Staff are encouraged to see themselves as a facilitator of each students education and development, and are actively encouraged to participate in the development process. Continuing professional development ensure that staff are compliant and aware of new and existing legislation and are also qualified for the roles they undertake.
All staff undertake compulsory courses in conflict management, non-physical and physical intervention as well as training in working with people with Autistic Spectrum Disorders.
All Staff require a satisfactory enhanced level Criminal Records Bureau disclosure before they are employed by Small House Homes.
