For those with high end Autistic Spectrum Disorders The Kanner Project is a life centre which provides 24 hour holistic care and comprehensive support.
Each service user has their own living space, designed specifically for their particular needs. Users also share the house’s many communal areas, which include:
• Large user friendly Kitchen
• Shared Lounge and dining area
• Sensory room
• Large Garden including Trampoline
and therapeutic play area
• Enclosed Swimming Pool
Service Users are encouraged to access external activities as much as possible, with walks in the country, music therapy, art therapy and trips to local activities, accessed as much as possible.
The Kanner Project can change a persons quality of life for the better. In General, whist living at The Kanner Project there have been significant advances in improving some Service Users behavioural and emotional well-being.
