Admission Procedure
i. Upon referral a comprehensive enquiry document investigating needs and special needs is sent to the enquiring agency.
ii. On receipt of that completed documentation a decision is made as to whether or not the young person meets the company's admission criteria.
iii. If the person does not fit the criteria then the enquiring agency will be informed by return.
iv. Should a person fit the admission criteria then arrangements will be made to visit the young person to complete an initial assessment.
v. On completion of that initial assessment if it is felt that a place can be offered then an offer letter will be sent together with a fully detailed costing. The costing meeting the assessed needs of the young person, and which is valid for the initial three months.
vi. Placement is subject to a three-month assessment period where detailed investigation of educational and social needs is performed. Service users will be assessed via a number of tailored Psychometric Tests performed by a qualified assessor. During this assessment period the company reserves the right to terminate the contract, should the person’s behaviour become uncontrollable or for any other substantial reason involving the person, or another’s welfare.
vii. At the end of the three month assessment period a review meeting will be convened to examine the findings of the assessment period and the adjust the level of provision. All decisions should be made jointly by all relevant parties at the meeting.
viiii. Should all parties be in agreement then a permanent place will be offered to the person.
