Behaviour

Student behaviour is monitored and acted upon using a token economy system which rewards positive behaviour. In appropriate circumstances sanctioning activity time will be used in response to targeted behaviour.

Behaviour requiring physical intervention is carried out by staff members who are fully trained in conflict management non-physical and physical interventions and physical restraint techniques.

All incidents are documented as per national minimum standards.

In individual cases contracts of behaviour can be drawn up between the school and the student, these can be linked to a reward or positive change if the conditions of the contract are met.
